Today, it remains a raw, unfiltered space for original content, standing in total defiance of the corporate churn that defines modern digital life.
The Philosophy: The Desert of the Real
Twenty-five years ago, I abandoned the overbearing tyranny of coastal Southern California for the rugged solitude of the Sonoran Desert. Today, I am executing a similar withdrawal from the mainstream social media scene.
“The Desert of the Real”—a concept borrowed from Baudrillard—perfectly encapsulates our current malaise. We are trapped in a state of managed perception; the media, the academy, and the administrative state operate in a recursive loop of synthetic narratives designed to ensure we remain distracted while our civilization erodes.
Escaping this loop requires a cold, hard look at the landscape. My mission here is simple:
- Reject the Bait: Refuse the manufactured conflicts and artificial goals promoted by the cultural establishment.
- Restore Ordered Loves: Prioritize family, community, and kin above all else.
- Build Parallel Systems: Stop seeking validation from a system designed to see you liquidated. I advocate for raising children anchored in faith and the truth of who they are.
The desert is vast, but it is barren. The only things that survive here are those rooted in the bedrock of reality.
